From the first lesson right up until you drive to your chosen test centre we are with you all the way.
Who We Are
Ellis School of Driving is run by Grant Ellis and is DBS checked, I take great pride in providing professional, safe and affordable driving lessons to the Bracknell area.
I am dedicated to providing a valuable service to all learners seeking to learn how to drive. I also understand that learning to drive can be a significant investment and I am committed to delivering high-quality driving lessons that are both informative and engaging. I believe that everyone should have access to professional driving education without breaking the bank. It's about ensuring the learner is getting what they need at the right time and with both the driving instructor and pupil agreeing on what needs to be taught each lesson.
Pick Up & Drop Off
We can arrange to pick up students from their home or pick up/drop off at their school or college if required.

Arriving on time for all lessons is something we pride ourselves on and if there is a delay we always ensure we inform our students in advance.
Excellent First Time Pass Rate
Our students have a very high fiirst time pass rate, the reason for this is that we make sure the student is ready for their test date, even if it means we have to be brutally honest with the student and delay the test date if we believe that the student is not ready to pass their practical test.
Patient & Understanding
The key is to adapt and teach each student based on their learning needs, progress and abilty. Students must learn at their own pace and build their confidence and skills in a manner and method that fits their learning needs.
Safety First
Our training motor vehicle is fitted with dual pedals that enables the driving instructor to intervene in a situation if it arises. All lessons are done with safety as our number one priority.

Grant is a great instructor with his easy explanations and teaching ways, I wasn’t a confident driver at first however I passed my test first time all thanks to Grant, he is a great instructor who was patience and has a lovely way of teaching me to boost my confidence and make me feel comfortable and to drive safely on the roads. He is easy to communicate with and to book the lesson's through an app which was easy to use :)
Passed with Grant first time with 2 minors. I couldn’t recommend him enough, he made me feel comfortable and never put me out of my comfort zone too quickly, he was very encouraging to help me pass and couldn’t of done anymore to help me, it was a pleasure to learn from him.
